SEND Teaching Assistant – Pulborough

Contract: Full time September 2025 start

Salary: GBP82.20 – GBP100 per day

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting student with SEMH on a 1:1 basis, under the guidance of class teachers and the SENCOHelping to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategiesCreating a nurturing and inclusive learning environmentWorking collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external professionalsEncouraging independence, confidence and communication skills in learners Qualifications & Skills:

Has experience working with children with SEND (particularly SEMH)Is patient, empathetic and resilient with a strong sense of humourCommunicates clearly and effectivelyCan work flexibly and adapt to the needs of individual pupilHold classroom support qualifications (desirable)
