Start Date: September 2025

Salary: GBP80 – GBP100 per day

Hours: Part–time and Full–time availability.

TeacherActive are looking for a Teaching Assistant in Newcastle. We have opportunities to work within a variety of schools within the area. We create amazing rapport with our schools and support staff to find you the best suitable placements. We re currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant within mainstreams or primary schools in Newcastle and surrounding areas.

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant / TA to cover day to day, short–term and long–term placements. This is a great chance to widen your experience and have the excitement of working within local schools. You will have the guaranteed opportunity to support pupils and help them thrive within the school.

A successful Teaching assistant will have:

SEND TA / SEND Teaching Assistant experience (desirable)Experience of supporting young people on a 1:1 basis (desirable)A good understanding of safeguarding and Child ProtectionLevel 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishmentA calm, patient, and caring personality In return you can expect excellent benefits and rewards:
