The RoleYou will be working within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs alongside associated behavioural challenges. This role suits a resilient and empathetic teacher, able to create a calm, structured learning environment and motivate pupils in need of additional support to reach their full potential.

Role ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needsSupport pupils with SEMH and behavioural needsDevelop positive relationships that encourage engagement and learningMonitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviewsWork collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other professionals

Skills and ExperienceQualified Teacher Status (QTS) is requiredAt least 6 months experience within an SEN or SEMH settingExcellent behaviour management skillsEnhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneAbility to provide references covering the previous 24 months

Location and PackageSutton Coldfield locationSalary: GBP140 – GBP253 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)Start Date: 1st September 2026Contract position
