The role

East Midlands Airport has an exciting brand-new role for a dynamic technical trainer to join the training department to develop and deliver training and exercise programmes to embed and continuously improve the Incident Management structure at the East Midlands Airport. This is an opportunity to support the Airport's emergency preparedness by training teams across all levels of incident management and in all types of emergencies and business continuity incidents, working with multiple departments and service partners to ensure the response to incidents is consistent, collaborative and effective.

Duties include: -

Coordinating and delivering the training and exercising programmes for the Incident Management Structure of EMA. Using innovative methods to develop engaging training sessions, including remote learning opportunities. Delivering creative exercise sessions which reflect realistic situations and give attendees confidence in their response. Creating and developing course materials and presentations in line with company standards Developing and delivery quality assurance programmes for training Keeping up to date with the latest best practise and regulations relating to incident management, including lessons learnt from debriefs, and incorporating these into training and exercising programmes. What do you need to be successful?

Comprehensive knowledge of incident management Proven ability in developing and maintaining training processes, procedures and documentation Ability and confidence to deliver training programmes to a wide range of audiences from entry level to director level Excellent communication skills both verbally and written Previously created, planned and delivered training packages Level 3 Award in Education and Training is desirable. Excellent IT skills in all Microsoft packages Flexible to work, ability to engage with stakeholders around their schedules Equal Opportunities & Reasonable Adjustments
