SEND Teacher – Coventry

Immediate Start | Long-Term Role | £155 - £200 per day

A specialist school in Coventry is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team on a day-to-day basis. The setting supports both Primary and Secondary-aged pupils, providing a nurturing and structured environment where students are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs, supporting pupils with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. Working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, the SEND Teacher will play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS or QTLS

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND needs: PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD

• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills

• The ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning requirements

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
