Location: East London

Job Type: Full–Time (5 days a week), Long Term or Supply

Pay Rate: 95 – 110 per day

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will deliver key 1–on–1 and small group instructions to students with special educational needs. This full–time, long–term SEN Teaching Assistant position offers excellent career progression and stable pay rates.

Key Tasks:

– Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to SEND pupils, 1 to 1 or in small groups

– Assist the teacher by adapting the learning programme to student targets.

– Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.

– Track, monitor, and report student progress to the SENDCo.

Requirements:

– Proven experience or relevant training as an SEN Teaching Assistant or SEND Support Worker.

– Deep knowledge of conditions like Autism, ADHD, or Speech and Language needs.

– Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.

– Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
