SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) – Primary School | Lambeth (Streatham) | September Start

Location: Streatham, Lambeth

Start Date: September 2026

Interviews: Commencing after May half term

Contract: Full-time, term time

The Opportunity A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (Streatham) is seeking three dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team in September. This is due to the arrival of three new pupils with EHCPs, all of whom will require 1:1 support for Autism (ASC).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school with a strong focus on providing high-quality, individualised support for children with neurodivergent needs.

The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Autism

Implement strategies from EHCPs and personalised support plans

Work closely with class teachers and the SENCo

Support pupils with their learning, social development, and emotional regulation

Help create a structured and inclusive classroom environmentCandidate Profile We are looking for:

Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants seeking a new role from September

Graduates with SEN experience (Psychology, Education or Speech and Language related fields)

Individuals passionate about supporting children with additional needsEssential Skills and Experience

Experience supporting children with Autism or SEN

A patient, proactive, and nurturing approach

Strong communication and xjnqpsq teamwork skills
