SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Gorton, Greater Manchester

Pay: £90-£100 per day

Contract: Full-time | Long-term

Start Date: Immediate

Looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day?

We're recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist secondary school in Gorton. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and physical or behavioural challenges.

The Role

You'll work closely with teachers and support staff to help students access learning, stay engaged, and build confidence. This is a varied and hands-on role, supporting pupils both in class and through targeted 1:1 or small group work.

Key responsibilities:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support

* Support students with EHCPs across lessons

* Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs

* Encourage communication, engagement, and positive behaviour

* Assist with supervision, welfare, and personal care where required

* Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment

* Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
