About the Role

CCS are supporting a well-regarded primary SEN school in Manchester that is seeking a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a dedicated and experienced TA who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in a primary school setting. You will play a key role in helping pupils achieve their potential through classroom support and leading targeted interventions.

Key Responsibilities

*

Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

*

Lead interventions to improve literacy, numeracy, or social-emotional development

*

Assist in the planning and delivery of differentiated lessons under the class teacher’s guidance

*

Support pupils with EHCPs and monitor progress

*

Promote positive behaviour and provide pastoral support

*

Liaise effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents

*

Contribute to extra-curricular and school-wide activities

Requirements

*

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

*

Experience in primary SEN settings

*

Ability to plan and lead interventions

*

Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills xjnqpsq

Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
