About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Canning Town.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with a student who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), providing tailored support to help them access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

* Support access to lessons and help adapt learning materials to meet the student’s needs

* Record progress and contribute to reviews of the student’s EHCP targets

About You

* Educated to GCSE level (including English and Maths)

Experience supporting students with autism, ADHD, or social and emotional needs would be an advantage, but training and guidance will be provided.

Why Join Us?

* A supportive and inclusive school community

* Ongoing professional development and training opportunities

* The chance to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s education

* Convenient location near Canning Town Station, with excellent transport links
