This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need tailored support, including pupils with ADHD, working within a school that values compassion, inclusivity, and individual growth.

About the School:

Situated in a friendly Barnet community, this school provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for pupils of all abilities. The staff work closely together to ensure every child feels supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. With a strong commitment to professional development, the school offers training and guidance to help staff excel in their roles.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including ADHD, ensuring their needs are met both academically and emotionally.

• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning plans.

• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Support pupils’ social skills, communication, and independence.

• Assist with learning resources, classroom organisation, and daily routines.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children with SEN, particularly ADHD, in a school or similar setting is desirable.

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• A genuine passion for helping children thrive.

Why This Role?

• Be part of a warm, collaborative school community.

• Gain valuable experience in SEN support, with opportunities for professional growth.
