Description

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Cheshunt, London. You will be working closely with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting them across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Your role will involve one-to-one and small-group support, helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Every day, you will be making a genuine difference in a child’s life—celebrating small wins that have a big impact.

Why This School?

• This is a forward-thinking and nurturing primary school with a strong sense of community. Teachers and support staff work together in a collaborative, supportive environment, where professional development is actively encouraged.

• Child-Centred Approach: The school prioritises individual learning needs, particularly for children with SEN.

• Supportive Leadership: Senior staff are approachable, understanding, and invested in staff wellbeing.

• Welcoming Team: You’ll join colleagues who are passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring learning environment.

Why This Role is Perfect for Experienced TAs:

• A fantastic opportunity to specialise in SEN while gaining valuable classroom experience.

• Convenient term-time hours for a great work–life balance.

• Located within easy reach of London and Hertfordshire.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience supporting children with ASD (in a school or care setting).

• A patient, empathetic, and positive approach.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

If you’re ready to inspire and support young learners in a role where every day counts, we’d love to hear from you.
