SEN Teaching Assistant role in: WillenhallStarting date: September 2025Salary: 90 – 105 per day, dependant on experienceTemporary, ongoing ContractFull Time Vacancy (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)SEN Teaching Assistant Specification

We are currently seeking a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full–time job in a SEND School in Walsall.

To be considered you must have a passion for supporting SEND learners and have an expert knowledge of the SEND school curriculum, along with and having a caring and nurturing approach to your work.

You must be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant (level 2 minimum)Have a excellent knowledge of the UK SEND systemBe able to nurture and support young children with SENDIdeally have worked at least 12 months within Special NeedsSafeguarding level 1 trainedDedicated to supporting young SEND learnersThe school is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant

This school caters to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), as well as moderate to severe learning difficulties. They are seeking a candidate with strong knowledge and experience in supporting students with these specific needs.

This is a role for someone to work with a number of SEND children, providing individual support ensuring their individual needs are met.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, and passionate about working with children. As a specialist SEND setting, it's essential that you are both professional and diligent, as you will be working independently with pupils who have a wide range of abilities and requirements.

SEN Teaching Assistant Summary
