Full-time, until the end of the summer term

January startAre you passionate about supporting young children with additional needs? We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive primary school and work within our specialist SEN Nurture Group, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 2 with a wide range of learning, social, emotional and communication needs.

About the Role

Provide tailored support for pupils with diverse special educational needs, helping them access learning and develop key life skills.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised interventions and structured nurture provision.

Create a calm, positive and safe learning environment where children can build confidence, resilience and independence.

Support children with social skills, emotional regulation, communication, play-based learning and early literacy and numeracy.

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them thrive both academically and socially.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience working with children with additional needs (school-based experience desirable).

Is patient, caring, and passionate about supporting children who may find school challenging.

Can work collaboratively as part of a small, supportive team.

Has a flexible, proactive and child-centred approach. xjnqpsq

Is committed to the wellbeing, progress and inclusion of all pupils.
