Role Highlights for an SEN Teacher

Position: SEN Teacher

Pay: £150-£220 per day, depending on experience and assignment.

Location: Enfield, London.

Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.

Working pattern: Assignments matched to your availability and experience.Your Role as an SEN Teacher

As an SEN Teacher, you will teach within a specialist setting or provision matched to your experience, coordinating classroom support and reviewing pupils' learning.

Plan accessible lessons with clear objectives linked to pupils' starting points and relevant EHCP outcomes.

Use structured routines and appropriate communication approaches to help pupils participate.

Brief support staff and work with SENCOs, families and other professionals where appropriate.

Assess small steps of progress and adapt resources, pacing and teaching approaches accordingly.What We Are Looking For in an SEN Teacher

QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with relevant SEND teaching experience.

An SEN Teacher confident differentiating learning and directing classroom support effectively.

A considered approach to communication, emotional regulation and safeguarding.
