SEN Teaching Assistant - Harrow

Start Date: September 2025

Are you a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs?

Do you have experience working as a Teaching Assistant, either one-to-one or in small groups, helping pupils to achieve their potential?

Are you looking for a rewarding role in a friendly and supportive Harrow primary school?

We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) to join our welcoming team this September. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and to play a key role in their educational journey.

SEN TA Role:

Location: Harrow, London

Start: September 2025

Contract: Full-time and part-time positions available

Pay: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

Requirements: Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain before starting)

As an SEN TA, you will:

Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs

Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being

Foster an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external specialists to support progressSEN TA Requirements

Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting

A genuine passion for helping children with additional needs

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
