SEN Primary Teaching Assistant – Hackney

Location: Hackney, East London

Pay: £110 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Hours: Monday – Friday

Are you a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Primary Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs?

We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Primary Teaching Assistant to start in a primary school in Hackney ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of children with a range of additional needs.

As an SEN Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider school team to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You will help children access learning, build confidence and independence, and develop their social and emotional skills.

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or within a SEN setting

* Experience supporting children with special educational needs

* Experience working within a primary school environment is desirable

* A patient, calm and nurturing approach

* The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils

* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* The ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other support staff

* Experience with personal care or manual handling would be advantageous, but is not essential

* A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and xjnqpsq supportive learning environment
