The Role You will inspire students through engaging, practical, and thought–provoking Science lessons, helping them develop a deeper understanding of the world around them while building confidence in scientific enquiry.

Your Key Responsibilities Deliver dynamic lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics that challenge and motivate studentsDevelop students' practical skills by planning safe and engaging laboratory activitiesAdapt teaching strategies to support learners with a wide range of abilities and learning stylesAnalyse assessment data to identify next steps and implement effective intervention strategiesEncourage scientific curiosity through STEM activities, enrichment opportunities, and extracurricular clubsMaintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and participation in lessonsWork closely with colleagues to contribute to departmental initiatives and curriculum development About You Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching welcomed but not essentialPassionate about inspiring the next generation of scientistsConfident in delivering engaging practical and theoretical lessonsA collaborative practitioner with excellent communication and organisational skills Why Work with Supply Desk?
