We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEND Lecturer to join a Further Education college in East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teaching professional with experience supporting learners with SEND and additional learning needs, helping students develop their skills, confidence and independence.

The Role

Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for learners with SENDAdapt teaching and learning to meet individual learner needsSupport learners to develop confidence, independence and employability skillsMonitor and assess learner progress, providing appropriate support and feedbackWork closely with Learning Support, SEND and wider college teamsContribute to personalised learning plans and positive learner outcomesPromote an inclusive, safe and supportive learning environment

About You

Experience teaching learners with SEND, learning difficulties or additional needsExperience within Further Education, specialist education or a similar post–16 settingRelevant teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalentStrong understanding of inclusive teaching and differentiated learningExcellent communication and classroom management skillsPassionate about supporting learners to achieve their potentialIf you are an experienced SEND Lecturer, Learning Support Lecturer, Foundation Lecturer or Specialist Teacher looking for a new opportunity in East London, we would be keen to hear from you.
