School Receptionist

Classroom Teachers Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable School Receptionist to join a primary school in Lambeth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in school administration who enjoys working in a dynamic and friendly environment.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm (30-minute break included)

Rate of pay: £14-£15 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

* Managing the school’s front desk and being the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and pupils

* Answering telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally

* Carrying out general administrative tasks

* Maintaining and updating pupil records using SIMS or Arbor systems

* Supporting staff and leadership with day-to-day operational tasks

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Previous administration experience in a school or educational setting

* Working knowledge of SIMS, Arbor, or other school database systems

* A friendly and professional manner with excellent communication skills

Requirements:

* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – or willingness to obtain one

* Availability to work Monday to Friday, mornings

This is a temporary role, ideal for someone looking to work part-time during school hours.
