About the Role:

Position: School Administrator

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester

Start Date: As soon as possible

Daily Pay Rate: £100 - £110 (depending on experience)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, term time only

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of a school's administrative functions. Duties may include:

Managing front-of-house reception duties with professionalism and a warm welcome

Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and accurately

Updating and maintaining pupil records on SIMS or equivalent MIS system

Supporting with attendance and safeguarding data

Assisting SLT and wider school staff with administrative tasks and correspondence

Liaising with parents, pupils, and staff with confidentiality and care

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have prior experience working within a school or educational setting.

Applications from candidates without this background will not be considered.

You will also need:

A clear Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind)

Excellent ICT skills and confidence using school systems (e.g., SIMS)

A proactive and professional approach to supporting school operations

The ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail under pressure
