About the RoleA specialist SEN school in Southampton is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time. This role involves supporting children with complex needs, including autism, sensory processing difficulties, and communication challenges. You will work closely with teaching staff and therapists to provide tailored support that promotes learning, independence, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex needsAssist in the delivery of personalised learning plans and activitiesSupport pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social developmentHelp manage behaviour using positive and consistent strategiesCollaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionalsMaintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environmentContribute to daily routines and transitions to support pupil engagement Requirements
