Are you a passionate and fluent Welsh-speaking teacher looking for your next opportunity?Academics Ltd is currently recruiting for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to teach a Year 5 class in a Welsh-medium primary school in Barry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic teacher who thrives in a supportive and community-focused school environment.
The Role: Full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class within a Welsh-medium school.
Delivering the curriculum through the medium of Welsh.
Creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Planning, preparing, and assessing work in line with curriculum guidelines.
Supporting pupil progress across all areas of learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Fluent Welsh language skills (spoken and written).
Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for Welsh language and culture in education.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one through Academics).
