Resource Base Teaching Assistant

Long term Role | x2 Days per week - 8.30am - 3.30pm term time

Are you a patient, resilient, and caring individual with a passion for supporting children who need a little extra help to thrive? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within the school resorce base.

This role is ideal for someone experienced and confident in supporting children with SEMH, SEN and Autism, who is committed to building strong, consistent relationships and making a real difference.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide individualised 1:1 support

Support emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement with learning

Implement strategies to support SEMH and Autism-related needs

Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school team

Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Support both academic progress and social development

Hours & Contract

X2 DAYS PER WEEK

Full-time school hours

Long-term position

Start date: ASAP

Has experience supporting children with SEMH, behavioural needs, and/or Autism

Is calm, patient, and consistent in their approach

Can build positive, trusting relationships

Is resilient and confident managing challenging behaviour

Works well as part of a team and follows behaviour support plans

Is committed to long-term support and continuity
