Your New School

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Reception with additional learning needs. The school is part of a well–regarded trust and is known for its nurturing Early Years provision and strong commitment to inclusion.

Your New Role

As a Reception SEN TA, you will:

Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs, helping them access learning and develop key skills.Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support strategies.Foster a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for early learning.Support with personal care and emotional regulation where needed.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Experience working with children in Early Years or SEN settings.A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young learners.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, EYFS or SEN training) is desirable.
