Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Tutor to join our growing team, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children build confidence, develop their skills, and reach their full potential in a supportive one–to–one or small group setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs

Support pupils in core subjects (English, Maths, and Science)

Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to parents and guardians

Create a positive and encouraging learning environment

Prepare pupils for SATs and other assessments where appropriate

Contract/Position Details:

Location – Within the community or pupils' homePosition – 1:1 Outreach TutorType of work – ContractStart date – ASAPDuration – Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placementEnd date (if applicable) – OngoingContract type – TemporaryFull–time/part–time – Part time (15 hours per week, per student)Minimum rate of pay – 25 – 30 per hourHours – Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the familyExperience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Outreach Tutor:

QTS or equivalentPossess UK classroom teaching experienceBe creative, patient and willing to think outside of the boxHave experience working with SEND or disengaged pupilsTo be eligible for this role, the potential 1:1 Outreach Tutor must:

Hold the right to work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child–related references.Apply Now
