Contract Type: Full–time, 5 days a week

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: 90 – 120 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

Are you an experienced and flexible teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a passionate and committed Secondary General Cover Teacher to join our dynamic school in Gloucestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher with the ability to step into various classrooms across different subjects, providing high–quality support and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cover a variety of subjects across the secondary curriculum.

Manage classrooms and ensure that students remain engaged and focused.

Adapt to different teaching styles and school environments.

Deliver lessons as set by absent teachers and assist with any ongoing classwork.

Support students in their learning, ensuring a productive and positive classroom atmosphere.

Ensure school policies and procedures are followed.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) or significant experience in classroom teaching.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

The ability to work independently and flexibly.

A passion for teaching and supporting students.

The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.
