Description
Job Title: PRU Teacher Location: Merton
Salary: GBP150 GBP220 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full–Time Long–Term
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced PRU Teacher to work in an Alternative Provision based in Merton. The setting caters for pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education and present with SEMH and behavioural challenges.
Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across key stages.
Work closely with support staff to manage behaviour and tailor learning plans.
Support pupils in developing academic and social–emotional skills.
Track progress and contribute to EHCP reviews.
Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching in PRU or SEMH settings is highly desirable.
Resilient, empathetic, and calm under pressure.
Able to engage students who may be reluctant learners.
