Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Level 2 and 3) – Full Time/Part-Time
Location: Ashington
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Adhoc
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time, agency basis in schools across Ashington. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support pupil progress
Assist in planning and preparing learning activities
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students with additional needs, where required
Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedbackRequirements
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Previous experience working in a school setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and flexible approach to work
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What We Offer
