About the role/school

We are recruiting a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in East London from April. This role is ideal for a motivated educator looking to develop their career while delivering high quality learning experiences across the primary curriculum.

The school is known for its inclusive ethos, strong community values, and commitment to high–quality teaching and learning. The successful Primary Teacher will join a collaborative team focused on academic progress, pupil wellbeing, and creative curriculum delivery.

This opportunity is suitable for experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking for their first Primary Teacher position in a supportive school environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will teach across core and foundation subjects, creating engaging learning experiences that support pupils of varying abilities and backgrounds across East London.

Job Responsibilities

As part of this Primary Teacher role, you will:

Deliver engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and progress within primary education

Support academic attainment through high quality teaching practice as a classroom Primary Teacher

Manage behaviour positively while maintaining a productive learning environment

Adapt teaching strategies to support SEND and EAL learners within your class

Work closely with support staff to enhance pupil outcomes

Assess pupil progress and use assessment data to inform planning

Contribute to school life beyond the classroom as part of the wider Primary Teacher team

Qualifications/Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience working in primary education is desirable

ECTs are welcome to apply for this Primary Teacher opportunity

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Essential:

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK
