Key Stage 2 Teacher (Part Time, Temporary)

Hexham, Northumberland

£400.50 – £785.34 per week- based on 3 days.

September 2025 – July 2026

The School and Role

We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in a large school in the Hexham area in Northumberland. This role will be based across multiple year groups in Key Stage 2 and you will be working as part of an established team with a lot of experience. The desired Key Stage 2 teacher will be teaching a mix of abilities and will be expected to teach computing and Maths. The role would be Monday to Wednesday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. This is a ‘good’ primary school with a great outdoor space and facilities for the children. This role would be to cover a maternity leave, therefore the successful candidate must be looking to commit to a long term role.

Requirements

The desired Key Stage 2 Teacher will have;

Experience of working with primary school aged children

Experience of working with pupils with SEND

A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

An ability to work as part of a team

QTS within the UK
