Description
Supply Star Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a friendly and welcoming primary school seeking a reliable and practical Part–Time Caretaker to join the team. This is a temporary position in the first instance, with the opportunity to become permanent subject to performance. – To be considered for this role you must have an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service.
Key Responsibilities:
Opening and securing the school premises as required
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring the school site is safe, clean, and well maintained
Managing health and safety procedures, including risk assessments
Overseeing contractors and deliveries
Supporting the day–to–day operational needs of the school
The Successful Candidate Will:
Be dependable, proactive, and able to work independently
Have practical maintenance or caretaking experience (school experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety
Be flexible to meet the needs of the school
