This role is ideal for individuals with a Level 2 qualification and some experience working with children, either in schools, care, or support settings.

The Role As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the classroom, including those with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils feel supported, engaged, and able to thrive.

Key Responsibilities Support pupils 1:1 and in small groupsAssist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activitiesPromote pupils social, emotional, and behavioural developmentHelp adapt learning materials to suit individual needsSupport the implementation of IEPs and behaviour strategiesCreate a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environmentEncourage confidence, independence, and engagementWork collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN support teams Requirements Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)Experience working with children (school, nursery, or care setting)A genuine passion for supporting young learnersPatient, positive, and adaptable approachStrong communication and teamwork skillsDBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Desirable Experience supporting pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH)Previous school–based experienceBasic knowledge of safeguarding and behaviour management Why This Role?
