Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum, pro rata (Academic Grade 4 -13) (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Part time 30 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Lecturer in Maths – The Role:
Are you passionate about Maths and have a flair for engaging learners of all ages and backgrounds? Wiltshire College & University Centre is growing its Maths department and is looking for a committed, enthusiastic Lecturer in Maths to join our team.
As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching across a range of Maths qualifications. You will work within a supportive team of experienced educators who collaborate to design and deliver structured schemes of work, engaging lesson plans, and robust assessment strategies that are regularly reviewed and improved.
Lecturer in Maths – Key Responsibilities:
As a Lecturer in Maths, you will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding teaching and assessment, ensuring that our students achieve their maximum potential. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering engaging and thought-provoking Maths lessons across a range of levels, from Functional Skills to GCSE and beyond.
* Inspire and motivate students, encouraging them to reach their full academic potential through innovative and inclusive teaching methods.
* Help students develop vital communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills that will serve them in both their academic and professional futures.
* Create tailored lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, ensuring all students can thrive.
* Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and offer support to help students overcome any academic challenges they may face.
* Foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive classroom environment that empowers students to excel and grow.
Lecturer in Maths – You:
The ideal candidate will hold:
* A recognised teaching qualification (level 4 or above) or willingness to work towards one
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Mathematics or a related subject
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
* The ability to inspire, motivate and engage students of all abilities
