Pay scale: MPS1 – MPS6A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Slough is seeking a qualified and experienced KS1 Class Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an ongoing contract until July 2027.
The Role:
You will be joining the school as a full-time class teacher, working closely with year group colleagues and support staff to plan engaging and creative lessons. You will play a key role in delivering a strong foundation in early literacy and numeracy, as well as preparing pupils for KS1 assessments.
You will be expected to build positive relationships with pupils, maintain a nurturing and structured classroom environment, and support children of varying abilities to achieve their full potential. The classes are settled and working well, with some pupils requiring additional support.
Person Specification:
Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS1
Strong understanding of early phonics and KS1 curriculum
Nurturing and positive approach to teaching and learning
Strong behaviour management skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Committed to supporting all pupils to achieve their best
