Part-Time School Kitchen Assistant – Southall

Location: Southall, West London (Easily accessible via the Elizabeth Line and local bus routes)

Pay Rate: Up to £15 per hour (Depending on experience)

Hours: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), maximum 2 hours per day

Contract: Part-Time, Term-Time Only (TTO)

Key Duties:

Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of the Head Chef, ensuring ingredients are ready for service.

Set up the dining hall tables, counters, and cutlery stations swiftly before the lunchtime rush begins.

Serve healthy meals to pupils and staff efficiently, maintaining a friendly and helpful manner.

Operate commercial dishwashers and manually wash larger pots, pans, and kitchen utensils safely.

Clean down the kitchen area thoroughly after service, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping floors.

What You Need:

Experience in a catering environment or a strong interest in food preparation and kitchen hygiene.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a fast, proactive approach to busy service times.

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one through us).
