Are you looking for a role where your healthcare expertise can inspire others? As an Independent End-Point Assessor (EPA), you’ll step away from day-to-day clinical duties and instead use your skills to support and assess apprentices as they complete their learning journey. This is your chance to influence the future quality of healthcare provision across the UK.

The Role

As part of Pearson’s EPA team, you’ll be responsible for:

*

Conducting fair and impartial final assessments of apprentices

*

Reviewing evidence across knowledge, skills, and behaviours

*

*

Providing accurate grading decisions and professional reports

*

Attending standardisation and training sessions to ensure consistency and quality

You’ll be covering standards such as:

Adult Nursing Support, Maternity Support, Diagnostic Imaging, Theatre Support, Allied Health Professions Therapy Support, Healthcare Support Worker (Level 2), and Assistant Practitioner (Level 5).

About You

We’re seeking healthcare professionals who are ready to step into an educational and assessment role. You’ll need:

*

2–5 years’ recent experience in healthcare (depending on the standard)

*

A valid NMC PIN or equivalent professional registration (for clinical pathways)

*

An assessor or teaching qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, PGCE, AET)

*

An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
