Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant
Location: Greenwich
ASAP start | Full-time, Term-Time Only
Are you a recent graduate in History or Geography with a passion for education?
A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a dedicated Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant to support its vibrant Humanities department. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain hands-on experience in a classroom setting ahead of pursuing a PGCE or teacher training program.
Role Overview:
Support teaching across Humanities subjects (History and Geography)
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students who need additional help
Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and resource creation
Help foster a love of learning and critical thinking in young minds
Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment Candidate Requirements:
Humanities-related degree
Passion for education and subject knowledge in at least one Humanities discipline
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential) What’s on Offer:
