Cover Supervisor

Description

We are seeking dynamic, reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across East London. In this role you will:

*

Manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher

*

Deliver pre-prepared lesson work and ensure students remain on task

*

Maintain good behaviour and positive classroom culture

*

Take registers, monitor student engagement, follow school policies

*

Liaise with teaching staff and leadership about student progress / issues

*

Adapt to different year groups and subjects as required

Person Specification

You will have:

*

Excellent behaviour management skills

*

Confidence in leading groups of students

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Flexibility and adaptability (able to move between schools / lessons)

*

Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one

*

Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

*

Previous experience in school / educational settings

*

Some knowledge of secondary curriculum

*

Experience as a teaching assistant, tutor, or volunteer in schools
