Key Responsibilities:

Supervise lessons across a range of subjects during teacher absences.

Ensure students stay on task with the pre–set work and maintain classroom discipline.

Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

Support students in understanding instructions and staying engaged with their learning.

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student behaviour and lesson engagement.

Requirements:

Experience working with secondary–aged students is desirable (e.g., in schools, tutoring, youth work, or coaching).

Strong classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour confidently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A flexible, calm, and professional approach to working in different school environments.

Minimum of A–levels; a degree is desirable.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
