Job Title: Behaviour Mentor

Location: East London

Job Type: Full–Time (5 days a week), Long Term or Supply

Pay Rate: 95 – 115 per day

Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff LTD is hiring an active Behaviour Mentor for a secondary school in East London.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who face behavioural challenges, helping them develop positive strategies to thrive in school. This full–time Behaviour Mentor position offers excellent career progression and stable pay rates.

Key Tasks:

– Deliver targeted academic and routine guidance to students, 1–on–1 or in small groups.

– Guide student behaviour with patience, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement.

– Create and implement structured behaviour plans to help students make positive choices.

– Track, monitor, and report student progress or attendance to teachers and senior staff.

Requirements:

– Proven experience or relevant training as a Behaviour Mentor, Youth Worker, or SEND Assistant.

– Deep knowledge of secondary classroom management and pastoral care.

– Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply.

– Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
