Behaviour MentorDudley(Clean driving licence and access to a car is essential)GBP110-GBP115 per dayStart Date: ASAPContract: Full-time, long-term temp-to-perm (Full Academic Year)Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join an Alternative Provision in Dudley, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.If you are calm, proactive, and confident managing challenging behaviour, this role could be an excellent fit.About the RoleWorking closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural needsSupporting students within lessons and in alternative learning environmentsManaging and de-escalating challenging behaviour using appropriate strategiesBuilding strong, positive relationships to improve engagement and attendanceSupporting pupils to regulate emotions and successfully re-engage with learningMonitoring behaviour and progress, sharing feedback with relevant staffEncouraging positive behaviour, resilience, and social developmentCollaborating with staff to implement and maintain behaviour support plansIdeal Candidate Profile

Experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils, ideally within an Alternative Provision or similar settingStrong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsCalm, patient, and resilient in challenging situationsAble to build trust and rapport while maintaining clear and consistent boundariesReliable and committed to a long-term roleProactive, adaptable, and a strong team playerWhy Work with Long Term Futures?
