Description
Do you have a passion for helping young learners overcome challenges and thrive in the classroom? Long Term Futures is working with an inclusive and vibrant primary school in Croydon, who is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity that offers the potential for a permanent contract.
We are looking for someone with a proactive and compassionate approach to supporting children's emotional and social development across Key Stage 1 and 2. Your work will involve providing crucial one-on-one and small group support to ensure pupils can engage positively with their education.
Why join this team?
A long-term role with the potential for a permanent position.
Competitive salary of £95-£115 per day.
Free professional development opportunities.
The chance to experience the school first-hand with a trial day.
A supportive team and positive school culture.
We are especially interested in candidates with a background in sport or psychology, as these skills can provide valuable insight into motivation and emotional well-being.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in a behaviour support or teaching assistant role.
The ability to calmly and confidently manage challenging behaviour.
An up-to-date enhanced DBS (or a willingness to apply).
Exceptional reliability and empathy.
Ready to start your new role?
The application process is simple. Send us your CV to begin, followed by a chat with Jack on our team. Once you've completed the necessary registration and compliance checks, we will arrange for you to meet the school team.
