Salary: NJC 21 - 25: GBP33,143 - GBP36,363 FTE (GBP31,291 - GBP34,331 actual salary) + well-being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time only plus two weeks and INSET days)
Contract: Fixed Term until August 31st 2026
Start date: Immediate start date

We're looking for a dedicated Assistant SENDCo to join our supportive team at Lift Winton, in Andover.
The role of the Assistant SENDCo is to support the SLT/SENDCo with all operational and administrative processes, in order to enable a smooth and effective educational provision to all of our pupils with special education needs or disabilities. The Assistant SENDCo will maintain all record systems to ensure the school's SEND records are accurate and up to date. They will gather data and do analysis to support planning of the school's SEND strategy and approach. They will also be the main liaison with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure all staff, parents, and external agencies are enabled to effectively support our SEND students. They will also support the SENDCo with consultation responses in line with the statutory 15 day response window.

About Lift Winton:We are a popular secondary school with a great reputation within the local community. The school boasts fantastic facilities, which includes a MUGA, a recently refurbished library and gymnasium, new music suite, dance studios, animal management area and expansive grounds. In addition to this, we have recently celebrated the opening of our brand new GBP5m expansion building, which includes a full size school hall, two state of the art science laboratories and two additional classrooms, as well as new toilet facilities. We are also pleased to have recently opened our renovated 'Inclusion Space' which has bespoke classrooms and breakout space for our nurture and SEND students.The school maintained a 'Good' grade in the latest visit by Ofsted in 2023.
