Art Teacher

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a passionate and creative Art Teacher for a welcoming Middle School based in the Ferndown area of Dorset.

Our client is a friendly and inclusive school, committed to inspiring creativity and fostering a love of learning through engaging, hands–on lessons. They are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Art Teacher to join them from September 2025 on a part–time basis (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday) for a 1–year contract.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Art lessons to KS2 and KS3 pupils, encouraging self–expression, developing technical skills, and inspiring confidence in every learner.

We are looking for a teacher who can bring fresh ideas to the curriculum, create a stimulating classroom environment, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all students.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and experience teaching ArtA genuine passion for inspiring creativity in young peopleExperience delivering Art to KS2 and/or KS3 pupilsAbility to plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop skills and confidenceStrong classroom management skills with a positive, inclusive approachWillingness to contribute to wider school activities and the creative life of the schoolAbout You:

You are creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic about teaching ArtAble to encourage and support students of all abilitiesHold high expectations for both learning and behaviourConfident in using a range of teaching methods to engage learnersCollaborative and able to work well with colleagues to enrich the curriculumTo Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
