A creative and ambitious secondary school in the Huyton area is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Art Teacher to join its vibrant Expressive Arts department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4, while delivering high–quality lessons and preparing pupils for GCSE Art & Design examinations.

In a Teaching role, classroom presence and management are important, and a good level of communication is vital to success of this role. Planning, prepping and marking will be expecting as a Maths teacher so is ideally something you should have experience in. Most importantly you should be completely confident in your abilities to conduct a lesson utilising your subject knowledge with the ability to adapt your lessons to the student s ability.

The successful qualified Computer Science Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent essential.A proven track record of teaching Art up to GCSE level, with experience in exam preparation. Strong subject knowledge in both traditional and contemporary art practices.A creative and organised individual with strong classroom management.Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
