Primary Teaching Assistant – Kingstanding | Join Zest Education

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a real impact in the classroom? Zest Education is currently looking for a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school in Kingstanding, Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a nurturing school community where your contribution will directly support the academic and personal development of pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Support class teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons

*

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils who need additional help

*

Promote active learning through group activities and interactive resources

*

Assist with behaviour management and help create a positive, focused classroom environment

*

Monitor and report on student progress to inform teaching strategies

*

Collaborate with teaching staff to provide the best outcomes for all pupils

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is enthusiastic, compassionate, and ready to make a positive difference. Ideally, you will have:

A Level 2 qualification (or higher) in education or a related field

*

Previous experience working in a primary school setting (preferred but not essential)

*

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth

*

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*

Patience, resilience, and a proactive approach to challenges

*

Confidence and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Job Details:

Contract Length: 3 months (with potential for extension)

Pay: £89.00–£95.00 per day

Expected Hours: 8–45 hours per week
