Description
THIS HAS .BEING A PRIVATE COLLECTION FOR MANY YEARS.
A BRAND NEW GT500 WAS BY A LOCAL MAN TO STAFFORD IN 1978. HE THEN WANTED TO BUILD A RACE REP LICA OF STAN WOODS.
HE THEN BOUGHT A SPONDON RACE KIT AND GOT THE LATE JOHN MARTIN MOTORCYCLES OF STONE IN STAFFSHIRE TO BUILD IT FOR HIM.
I AM UNSURE HOW OR WHY WE CAME TO HAVE IT BUT I DO KNOW THAT WE HAD FOR 30 YEARS. ALL CAN REMBER IS THAT IT WAS IN BOXES FOR MANY YEARS.
IT LAY IN OUR STORES UNTIL 2019 AND THEN I STARTED TO REBUILD IT.WE HAVE LOST SOME THINGS BY THIS TIME , 1 BEING THE ENGINE.SO WE PURCHASED A T500 RACE ENGINE,WHICH WE REBUILT.
IT HAS ALOT TRICK PARTS, CALIPERS,FORKS.YOKES AND PETER WILLAMS WHEELS. WE USED ATTHE MANX IN 2023 AS A ROAD BIKE.
