My husband and I have been learning espanol with Carlos for several months now. He is an intuitive teacher who structures the lessons around the students’ objectives while skillfully emphasizing weak points and providing positive reinforcement. Being older, slower learners, he quickly determined good learning strategies to help us grasp the material. The lessons are tailored to the students’ needs and can vary from the structured textbook to include discussions regarding travel, family, employment and more. As new Spain residents, we find Carlos is also an invaluable resource regarding all things Spain, from fiestas, things to see/do, holidays and associated traditions and more.

I've been taking Spanish lessons with Carlos for several months and have been really enjoying it. Carlos can adapt his teaching style to the student. So when I do the homework, it's great. If I'm unable to do so, that's fine too. At the end of each lesson, I've always learned something new and interesting, whether about Spanish language, culture, or whatever topic we happened to get into that day. Highly recommend!

Carlos has been my Spanish teacher for two years and I highly recommend him as a Spanish tutor. We meet virtually for two hours a week. I learnt Spanish from Carlos for a few years. He is an excellent language coach, and keeps the whole learning process fun, casual and interactive. His sessions don't feel like forced lessons. Rather his everyday conversational style of teaching makes you learn at pace and yet in an organic manner.
