Personal carer (p/t) for complex care needs: Evenings

Description

I am a fun lady who loves a laugh and happens to have MS and other health needs. I am looking to fill evening shifts. I can offer up to 15 hours each week, including weekends. Each visit is from 08.30 pm to 10.00 pm at my home. You will be working with other members of my care team of supportive, friendly and similarly wonderful people.

If you have experience with complex care needs and adult disability, and you are kind, careful and reliable, I would love to hear from you.

You will be paid to shadow an experienced carer until you get up to speed. Following successful shadowing, you will be working as a pair on my personal handling and transfer needs with a second carer experienced in my needs.

You can choose to be employed by me with a monthly payslip, or be self-employed.

Pay for employees: £24 per hour.

Self-employed: fee negotiable.

Duties include ceiling hoist transfers, toileting, showering, intimate care, catheter care, giving medicines, getting ready for bed.

Essential: enhanced DBS check and references required.

Transport: You will need to be able to make your own way to Saltford which is 5 miles between Bath and Bristol on the A4.

My husband will be available to provide advice and assistance when necessary.
